Applied debating: Developing position papers.

I have studied more about argumentation and evidence-based reasoning as a result of writing my position paper on the stricter laws and regulations regarding gambling to protect Australian families. To strengthen my arguments, I figured out how to

put together an accurate argument, analyse other perspectives, and

critically evaluate academic materials. Studying the effects that are negative of gambling made me realise how crucial it is to maintain a balance between family welfare, personal autonomy and financial gain. Through this process, my critical thinking and academic writing skills improved. In addition, I became more confident in my capacity to make arguments and offer suggestions. My future academic growth will be enhanced by these skills.
